Henri Michaux, "Signes", "Gestes", "Mouvements"

Cette recherche montre une pluralisation de la cartographie de l'oeuvre de Michaux. Les questions sont : comment Michaux a-t-il essayé de surmonter la coupure, symptomatique pour l'Occident (et non pour l'Orient), entre ce qui est écrit et ce qui est dessiné ? Qu'est-ce qui se passe entre les diverses zones de la création chez Michaux (celles de poèmes, celles des textes de composition différente, celles de peintures) ? Deux axes centraux de recherche se dessinent : 1/ le problème de l'auto-reconnaissance du soi et de l'auto-acceptation du soi et 2/ le problème de la communication par gestes et signes. Trois notions principales sont mises en reliefs : signes , gestes , mouvements . Etudiant le vocabulaire spécifique de Michaux, ainsi que ses tentatives pour créer les formes en mouvement nous examinons comment il a surmonté les ruptures dans le conflit entre l'individu et la société.

This research has shown a pluralisation in the mapping out of the work by Michaux. The questions are: How has Michaux tried to mount the breaks which are symptomatic of the West, but non of the East, and between that which is written and that which is drawn? What is it that passes between the different zones of creation by Michaux (be it in his poems, in his texts of different subjects, in his paintings, or in his books)? Two central principles of his research are 1. Problems of his own auto-recognition and of his acceptance of himself, and 2. The problem of the communication by his gestures and the mouvements. Three main notions are clearly outlined: The sings, the gestures and the mouvements. Studying the vocabulary unique to Michaux, as well as examining his attempts to create forms in movement , we examine how he has overcome the ruptures in the conflict between the individual and the society.
